One-on-one Psychotherapy
Ongoing individual therapy for the things that are hard to carry alone, and for the things you can’t quite name yet. Online, in English or Hindi.
What people bring
Anxiety, low mood and depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, questions of identity and self-worth, burnout, adjustment after a big change, and the diffuse sense that something is off without a clear name for it.
You do not need a diagnosis, and you do not need to be in crisis. Wanting to understand yourself better is a sufficient reason on its own.
What a session is actually like
Fifty to sixty minutes on Google Meet or Zoom. It opens with a check-in, moves into whatever needs attention that week, and closes with something grounding rather than stopping abruptly mid-thought.
The approach shifts with what you need: narrative work to loosen a story you’ve been stuck inside, cognitive-behavioural tools when a pattern needs interrupting, mindfulness when the body needs settling before the mind can move.
How often, and for how long
Weekly at the start, because continuity is what builds enough trust for the real material to surface. As things steady, many people move to fortnightly or monthly check-ins. Some do focused short-term work and stop; others stay for a longer stretch. Both are legitimate, and it is reviewed together rather than assumed.
If affordability is a concern, please say so. A few low cost/sliding-scale slots are offered (subject to availability). Mention it on your consultation call. It will not affect the care you receive.
Before you book
How do I know if I need therapy?
Therapy helps whenever you feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected. You don’t need to be in crisis to come; it also supports understanding yourself better and navigating change.
People come with anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, adjustment issues, grief, depression, aggression, addiction, trauma, relationship challenges, existential questions and other behavioural or psychological conditions.
How long is each session, and how often?
Sessions run 50–60 minutes, enough time for a check-in, real exploration, and a grounded closing.
Weekly usually works best at the start, for continuity and trust. As things progress, many people move to fortnightly or monthly check-ins.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, completely, with three exceptions required by professional ethics: risk of harm to yourself, intention to harm someone else, or risk of harm to a child or vulnerable adult. There is also a legal exception if records are required by law.
If any of those ever arise, it’s discussed with you openly first wherever possible. For clients who are minors, parents may be involved in discussing therapy progress while the privacy of the sessions themselves is protected.
How will I know if therapy is working?
The earliest changes are usually increased awareness and more self-compassion. Over time you may notice shifts in how you respond to stress, how you are in relationships, and how you relate to yourself.
Progress is reviewed together at regular intervals, so the work stays meaningful rather than drifting.
Ready when you are
