One-on-one Career Counselling
Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions in a person’s life. The choices we make can significantly influence our sense of purpose, satisfaction and happiness.
My training in career counselling equips me to support students in making informed, meaningful and realistic career choices, ones that align with who they are and what they aspire to become.
- I have been conducting career assessments and counselling sessions with students since 2019
- I hold an additional certification in Career Counselling through iDreamCareer and Boston University
What happens when we meet
Career counselling sits at the meeting point of two things: self-awareness, meaning who you actually are, what you are drawn to and what you are good at, and the world of work, meaning what exists out there and what it genuinely involves. Most people have some sense of one or the other. Bringing the two together is where the work happens.
The process, step by step
A call and a profiling form
We start by gaining insight into your current needs and aspirations, through a conversation and a short profiling form.
Career assessment
Understanding you better, across your aptitude, personality and interests, assessed using the API Career Assessment Test.
Your 16-page report
A comprehensive report with insights into your profile, along with your Top 10 Career Clusters based on the results.
The counselling session
A 1.5-hour session with you and your family or caregivers, because the people who matter to you will also want to explore and understand your career options. Together we look at relevant paths, the educational routes each one involves, and build a step-by-step action plan so the way forward is clear.
The aim is not simply to suggest a career. It is to help you and the people around you understand the options and make choices with greater clarity, awareness and confidence.
One year of dashboard access
You also get a year’s access to the iDreamCareer dashboard, where you can:
- Explore a wide range of career options
- Learn about different courses and career pathways
- Access an updated list of examinations
- Explore colleges and universities across India
- Keep researching and comparing as your interests evolve
Is this for you?
If you are between Grade 9 and Grade 12 and you are exploring different career possibilities, unsure what to pursue after school, looking to understand your strengths, interests and aptitude, weighing up academic streams or career pathways, or simply seeking clarity before making important educational decisions, you are in the right place.
Together we will move from “What should I choose?” to “I understand my options, I understand myself better, and I know what I can do next.”
Credentials
What students have said
Collected anonymously through the post-session feedback form.
“I would share the beautiful gesture that the counsellor had throughout the session. She is very supportive. Kept motivating me.”
“Probably the way she was observant in identifying and piecing all my information together. It was impressive how she could understand a person in the span of 2 hours.”
“Her answer after listening to my opinion, and not deciding what is best for me but suggesting.”
“When I learned about my strengths and the way I was being treated throughout the session. That is the most valuable part for me.”
“I would recommend highly, it is a great and open experience to share.”
“It was a brilliant experience.”
If affordability is a concern, please say so. A few low cost/sliding-scale slots are offered (subject to availability). Mention it on your consultation call. It will not affect the care you receive.
