Listening Circles
Online spaces that create a gentle and reflective place for adults and adolescents to pause, connect and explore their inner experiences.
What these are
Not lectures, and not advice-giving. A facilitated space, deliberately small, where people can hear and be heard. Much of the value is in recognising your own experience in someone else’s words, something that is difficult to arrange for yourself.
Themes have included anxiety and grounding, understanding overthinking and worry, self-care, compassionate listening, listening to regrets, holding space for change and transitions, mindfulness, and honouring the different seasons and experiences of life.
Root & Rise: From Anxiety to Wholeness
A four-week online programme designed and facilitated for twelve participants, bringing together cognitive skills, nervous-system awareness, mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
The aim was to help participants understand their own experiences of anxiety, develop practical tools for regulation, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves, rather than treating anxiety as something to be defeated.
How groups are held
Ground rules on confidentiality and respect are set at the start. Facilitation keeps the space from tipping into either silence or one person dominating, which is the difference between a group that works and one that quietly stops being safe.
What’s open, and what has already run
Circles form periodically and are kept deliberately small. Ask to be told when the next one opens. There is no obligation attached to being on that list.

Rooted Within: From Anxiousness to Groundedness
An online workshop offering a space to gently meet anxiety and learn simple, powerful body-based grounding techniques, calming the nervous system and coming home to yourself.
It was built for anyone feeling anxious, restless and constantly in their head; struggling to find moments of calm amongst the chaos; curious to explore what anxiety really is; or longing to reconnect with themselves.
Run on Sunday 28 September 2025, 4–6 pm, online. Ask to be told when it next opens.
Inside the circles
