Therapy sessions are a special time we set aside for your healing. When someone doesn’t come or cancels late, that time can’t be given to another person. Here’s how we handle changes:

  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps me manage my schedule and reduces no‑shows.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no‑shows will be charged the full session fee. If you bought a package, the missed session will count as used.

  • Emergencies happen. If there’s a sudden illness or urgent situation, please let me know as soon as you can. We can discuss options, like rescheduling or adjusting the fee, on a case‑by‑case basis.

  • If you’ve purchased a block of sessions and decide to stop, you can receive a pro‑rated refund for unused sessions. Used sessions are charged at the standard (non‑discounted) rate.

  • If I need to cancel (for illness, training or emergencies), you won’t be charged. I’ll offer a new time that works for you.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.

  • By visiting this website or booking a session, you agree to these terms. They’re here to make sure everyone knows what to expect and feels safe.

  • What we offer – I provide individual therapy, listening circles and parent–child consultations. These services support your emotional well‑being and are not a substitute for emergency or medical care. If you or someone else is in crisis, please contact local emergency services immediately.

  • Who can attend – Adults (18+) and minors with parental consent can book sessions. Please provide honest information about yourself so I can support you properly.

  • Payment – Session fees and package prices are listed on the website. Payment is due in advance and processed securely through Razorpay.

  • Confidentiality – What we discuss in session stays between us, unless there is a risk of serious harm to you or others. In those cases, I may need to involve trusted contacts or authorities to keep everyone safe.

  • Intellectual property – All text, images and resources on this site belong to The Gentle Space. Please don’t reproduce or distribute them without permission.

  • Updates – I may update these terms occasionally. When I do, the new version will appear on the website, and by continuing to use the site you accept the changes.

Shipping Policy

  • No physical shipping – We do not sell or ship physical products. All services are delivered either in person or online.

  • Digital resources – Sometimes I share worksheets or reading material. These are sent by email within two business days after your session.

  • Because we don’t send physical items, there are no shipping costs and no need to track packages. For online stores, a clear shipping policy should explain how to handle missing or damaged packages. Here, our policy simply clarifies that there’s nothing to ship.

Your Privacy Matters

I take your privacy seriously. Indian law requires businesses to publish a policy explaining what data is collected, why it’s collected and how it’s kept safe. Here’s how I care for your information:

  • What I collect – Your name, contact details, emergency contact, session notes and payment information. Session notes may contain sensitive health information.

  • Why I collect it – To schedule and provide therapy, send reminders, process payments and share relevant resources. I only collect what I need for these purposes.

  • Consent – By booking a session and sharing your details, you agree to this use of your information. You can choose not to share certain details, but it may limit the support I can offer.

  • Sharing – I will never sell your data. I may share it only:

  • To comply with the law or a court order;

  • To prevent serious harm to you or someone else (e.g., suicide or abuse);

  • With supervisors for professional consultation (your identity will be protected).

  • How I protect your data – Records are stored securely (using encrypted digital storage or locked files). I keep them only as long as necessary and then delete or destroy them safely.

  • Your rights – You may request to see or correct your personal information. To update or remove your details, email me at the address below.

  • Grievance officer – If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, please contact me (see Contact Us). I aim to resolve concerns within 30 days.

  • Response hours: Monday to Friday, 11 AM–7 PM (IST). Messages sent outside these hours will be answered on the next business day.

  • Emergencies: I cannot provide emergency services. If you’re in crisis, contact Indian helplines such as iCall (+91 9152987821) or the Kiran Mental Health Rehabilitation helpline (1800‑599‑0019).
